Shiba Inu volunteer project leader and developer, who goes by the name of Shytoshi Kusama, has reported on social media that the World Economic Forum (WEF) wants to get started with the meme cryptocurrency on a global scale.
In a Nov. 22 poll on Twitter, said Kusama said the WEF has “kindly invited” the Shiba Inu (SHIB) project to collaborate on “global MV policy”. The developer of Shiba Inu is probably referring to the politics of the Metaverse. Cryptocurrencies and blockchain have often been discussed at WEF events. But partnering with a popular meme token would be a first for the organization.
“Yes, I mean it,” said Kusama. “We are meant to sit down with policymakers and help shape global policies for MV together with other giants like FB (bye Zuck), Sand, Decentraland, etc..”
#ShibArmy I need a quick vote: we are kindly invited to cooperate with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM on their global SR policy. I’d like to know what you all think, because it’s not our decision, it’s yours.

At the time of going to press, more than 65 percent of the approximately 9,500 participants in this poll voted for a collaboration between Shiba Inu and the WEF. About 10 percent said they didn’t care if the project worked with the WEF or not. Kusama has more than 861,000 Twitter followers.
SHIB price is down about 80 percent over the past 12 months to $0.000008727 at the time of writing, according to data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro.
