It’s happening again: Friday night’s Milwaukee Brewers game against the Cincinnati Reds will be available to watch only on Apple TV+, and not on its usual television home, Bally Sports Wisconsin.
The Aug. 5 game, which kicks off a five-game homestand for the scuffling (but still in first place in the National League Central) Brewers, is just the second time the team has had a game shown exclusively on Apple’s streaming service. (The first one was on July 8 vs. the Pirates.) The game, like all the Apple “Friday Night Baseball” games, is streaming for free.
According to the Brewers, the broadcast team for the game will be Melanie Newman, Cliff Floyd and Russell Dorsey, along with field reporter Tricia Whitaker.
Speaking of programming changes: Note that Saturday night’s game against the Reds, which starts at 6:10 pm is airing on Fox, locally on WITI-TV (Channel 6).
Here’s what you need to know about tuning in to Friday night’s game.
