Insights into the future of the digital world

The “NTR – The Metaverse Summit” is organized by the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e. V. together with Europa-Park and MackNeXT on 1 and 2 December 2022 in Rust. The event aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the future of the digital world, as well as Web3, XR technologies and the metaverse. Cathy Hackl, also known as “Godmother of the Metaverse”, is one of the speakers. She is a globally recognized Web3 and Metaverse strategist, tech futurist, bestselling author, and media personality. Cathy is currently Chief Metaverse Officer & Co-Founder of Journey, where she supports leading brands on Metaverse and Web3 strategies. With about 144,500 followers, she is one of the leading tech voices on LinkedIn. Cathy writes for Forbes and hosts Adweek’s Metaverse Marketing Podcast, among others.

Other top speakers include NFT expert Tim Walther, who oversees brand management in the Metaverse at Volkswagen, and Emily Olman of Hopscotch Interactive, who has developed virtual marketing solutions for the real estate industry. The Collaboratorium’s Kathleen Cohen brings storytelling, inclusion, and interoperability to the stage in the Metaverse. Nils Wollny, who uses VR glasses to take Audi vehicles to new worlds with Holoride, also speaks, and Dirk Lueth van Upland shows how companies can combine gaming, social interaction and an NFT marketplace.

The event at Europa-Park in Rust is jointly organized by the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e. V. and MackNeXT.
